    I am fast reaching the conclusion that my entire life has been subsidized to the hilt.

    First: subsidies for Midwest farmers (dad was a farmer).

    Then: subsidies for college tuition (husband is a college professor).

    I'm having a slight identity crisis.

    My sister tells me beans are cheap.

    Of course, I wouldn't know since I've started mail ordering heirloom beans...
