What fantastic news to wake up to today! I've been watching the news -- what an incredible operation it was. This is a good day to stand in the street and wave a flag around.
Added to the reality and symbolism of the "Arab Spring", the event is much more meaningful than if it happened a year ago. Perhaps it couldn't have happened a year ago. The movement will be slow to die, but it will die because they have nothing to offer.
The news channels were annoying during the wait for the presidential announcement, but it was still stunning when it came.
