We're looking at a tax increase in the neighborhood of 10% (though the administration isn't saying so) and so far this school year the administration has spent $240K on fields AND hired a full-time "curriculum administrator."
And, of course, I would like to know how an architectural firm specializing in school construction can fail to enlarge a field to the proper dimensions.

Sky's the limit.
Call me naive, but do grass seeds really cost $3,500? That seems like it could buy you enough to green a small island.
I heard from a contractor who told me that the price should be half what it is.

Also: I would like our school administrators not to use the word "oops" when describing the architect's work on a major construction project.
