It's worth reading the Patch article on why Bedford switched to Singapore Math: apparently it's because Math in Focus has TECHNOLOGY!

Namely, an online component and stuff for the Smart Board.

Well, fine.

Choose Math in Focus over Terc because Math in Focus has an online component.

People in education give great hope to the uneducated masses. They prove that absolute idiots can rise to power, and make a lot of money. And you can do it without memorizing number facts and procedures. The system works.
