Andrew Googles Caterpillar CEO

CAT CEO talks earnings

Apparently Andrew is concerned about the economy.

update

nope, wrong again.

Found an email from his teacher:
Finally figured it out thanks to Mrs. B. The Caterpillar Leadership Series is a CD of interviews with 4 CEO’s of the company. This company makes large tractor trucks. [as a person who grew up on a farm in central IL, I knew that] It has been a company that has become one of the most successful companies in the world. The CD’s are just interviews of these 4 men talking. A paper describing the series will be in his backpack. He’s holding on tight to it! Hope this helps you at home! Talk to you soon!
His teacher said he was on eBay today trying to buy the CDs. "You know he goes on eBay, right?"

For the record: no, I did not know Andrew goes on eBay.

I should probably ask his teacher if she's seen him with a credit card.

How funny! Does the CD prominently feature tractors? Is Andrew in a tractor phase? Does Barney make an appearance? Have there been any mysterious packages addressed to Andrew arriving at home or at school? Might ask the teacher about that last one. You know you can do eBay without a credit card, right? You just connect a PayPal account to your bank account. (!!!)

P.S. Tractors are cool. Nothing wrong with tractors. I have a set of John Deere bedsheets for myself. :-) You can get just about anything with a John Deere logo these days.

My brother's a retired Cat engineer.

My kids have a couple of stocks between them, so they used to love to tell their uncle that they were his boss.

Feller Bunchers! D11N with ripper! My son watched his Catipillar video over and over and over when he was younger.

Caterpillar, John Deere, and International Harvester (now Case IH, apparently) ... there's a religious argument that's always just waiting to happen.

If you run in the right circles, that is.

Oh dear. Great communication skills though! What would we do without them. I'll have to watch out for that as mine have already discovered U-tube......had to disable internet access until we can figure out a good system of safety.

Checking through the 'history' was enough to turn my hair white and that was just in a few minutes - on U-tube, the hair went a long time ago.
