Where is the snow!?

Bitter cold tomorrow and Friday. Not even an inch of the white stuff.

And this is the year we bought season tickets for Butternut Ski Area in the Berkshires. We've gone once.

Didn't that used to be called Otis Ridge and then Butternut Basin? At least they should be able to make snow.

When the map first popped up, I thought it was talking about snow squirrels.

Everyone is getting colds and our school has to post a teacher to make sure kids put on their coats when they leave school. Yeah! Right! Two positives that make a negative.

If I were governor, I would have "spring days" on a nice spring. The kids would have to go to school, but the parents would get the day off.

Sounds good to me.

Actually, I'm ready for a snow day.

A real one.

It snowed for 20 minutes this morning and the kids kept asking about a snow day. And then the snow stopped.

I, for one, am not missing snow. And I was enjoying the warm weather that we had a few weeks ago more than these frigid temps. But that's just me

We had snow earlier this week, but it turned to ice. Schools opened two hours late. Flurries predicted for today and tomorrow. In Washington DC, 1/8 of an inch of snow can shut this place down.

It's cold as the devil here and we've had snow for days. Not much for here, only about an inch, but it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

And the sun belt got 3 inches of snow on Sunday, closing schools in Tucson, AZ. The kids are never going to believe that their cousins in the Tucson area got a snow day while we've had none this year!
