It's a splog, which is short for spam blog. Somebody registered the domain name, scraped your navigation (links) off your kitchentable math site, then put a bunch of google adsense ads up instead of content, hoping to make some sales because they get paid when the ads are clicked. All you have to do is report it to Google, and they'll ban them, which means they will disappear from Google's search index. To do this, go to www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html There is similar reporting for Yahoo! and other search engines. You should do this. Linda

Catherine, that looks like a scam site similar to what happened to this blogger. It's kind of complex -- I'm not sure I totally understand it.

Linda, thanks!
I've just reported it, I hope.
I just read the Lauren Wood post - jeez.
I have no understanding of this stuff, and no patience, at the moment, for delving into it...
Now that I've reported it, what do I need to do to make sure it goes away?
