SAT considers this question to be hard. Maybe it is hard when using proper algebra.

I did it the non-algebra way. I imagined the city having 50 people. Therefore, the rest has 100people. Total pop: 150. City pop of total: 50/150

The population of Norson, the largest city in Transitania, is 50 percent of the rest of the population of Transitania. The population of Norson is what percent of the entire population of Transitania?
