Bubbly analogies aside, couldn't this be rewritten as the whine effect?

I'm wondering about the effects of Red Bull on SAT scores.
I figure the correlation is real and causal but it goes the other way around.
Practically the minute you have a child diagnosed with special needs somebody tells you the "mental illness is inherited, you get it from your kids" joke.
Which, of course, you've already discovered.
Is this supposed to be a joke?
I think the correlation is real, but I assume the post was put up as a joke (pretty much....)
