Thinking about schools and peers and parent-child attachments....I came across one of my favorite posts .
My son won 4 of these graphing calculators in 4 years of elementary and middle school math competitions. He uses one (for exams and not much else), had one stolen, and has 2 unopened packages with the others.They are not particularly good calculators (I prefer the non-graphing HP reverse-Polish notation calculators myself), and have no real function outside exams (where communication with outside help needs to be disabled).
I have mine right here beside me!I wonder what I did with the "monster" graphing calculator I stupidly bought for the SAT.It's gotta be around here somewhere...
