Hey-
That's our school, and my business partner, Tricia Salerno. SMARTTraining provides professional development in Singapore Math.

Did you notice the gushy host waved her long fingers and assured us that the kind of math we all had, and all hated, was "Saxon math"?

How stupid was that Saxon math comment?? Sheesh!

And, her co-anchor joined the gleeful group of adults who proudly claim, “I was the worst math student on the planet”. Yes, and that’s why typical MSM journalists apply abominable critical thinking skills to most news stories that require numerical literacy!!

Too bad they didn't just load the package without letting the anchors chime in. Their ad-lib banter ruined it for me as well. Otherwise, the story itself was well done.

1. We didn't all have Saxon math. What was she thinking?
2. I am so done with the "I was so terrible in math," comment I could scream.
