Meet Corliss Archer

"The Algebra Problem"

Barry just sent the link - apparently in 1954 fathers still knew high school algebra.

Today Assistant Superintendents for Curriculum don't know high school algebra.

This actually sounds more like a particular class of problem known as an NP-complete problem, not an algebra problem :p

(Although the constraint "less in 5 trips" sounds like a simplification: a real problem would ask for something like "find the minimum amount of trips required".)
