Is this site good?

That all depends on what you want it for. It looks like an interesting, somewhat historical approach. I didn't look at the problems very closely, so I don't know how good they are. It doesn't go far enough to be a sufficient grounding to do calculus on, but it's got the basics.

It looks like a good place to start, but I'd suggest getting a standard algebra/trig book to cross reference too, and be aware that if you're headed for calculus, you'll want to do more algebraic trigonometry too.

"If you would like to learn a bit about trigonometry, or brush up on it, then read on. These notes are more of an introduction and guide than a full course."

Yep. Good information, but not so good if you want to learn the mechanics snd how trig is applied to real problems. It's good for brushing up, but it might be too much for someone new to the topic. I'm big on carefully-planned bit-by-bit mastery of basic skills. You don't just sit down and read a book on trig. Perhaps a little bit of history or examples ahead of time would be good, but not too much.

Haven't had time to really look at it, but I love the little java app at the top of the page.
